Okra is a fruit that comes from Africa, but can be adapted to any tropical weather. It has a gorgeous green color, a smooth and a slightly hairy skin which is entirely edible as well as its seeds.
Okra has a very light flavor, as in resemblance of an eggplant. If the okra is overripe, it will be very sticky, so be sure to grab it when it is freshly harvested.
Also, its jelly-like substance makes it a perfect choice to thicken your favorite stews or creams.

This peculiar fruit belongs to the same family as the lychee and offers incredible benefits for our body. It is small, oval, and very, very sweet, somewhat resembling grape pulp. Its flavor is very fresh, juicy, and slightly acidic. On its outer side it has a thin layer of reddish hue covered with “hairs”. Because of its appearance, rambutan is also known as hairy lychee.
